We recognise that working together with parents, carers and professionals can support young people to overcome barriers and achieve their potential. This page will guide you on how to get support for your young person and also provide support for you.

We support Young People aged 11-19 years and those up to 25 years with SEND. No referral is required, simply go to our For young people page to see what's going in your area.

  • 1:1 Youth Work for those that need a little extra support
  • Blues Programme: group support in schools focusing on changing how you think to change what you do
  • Focussed group work for young people with a shared needs

Offering one to one support

A specialist issue-based service for young people aged 11-19 years or 25 years with SEND with a specifically identified mental health need, who are experiencing significant impairment to their ability to engage in day to day life.

Criteria: A CAMHS assessment has been undertaken but no ongoing therapeutic intervention has been put in place, or is school refusing.  Discharged from in-patient services and in need of support to re-engage. The Young Person is registered as CIN / CP / In-care.

As part of our Targeted offer, we can deliver issue based group support in communities where there is more specific need.  Our offer includes detached youth work, place based and online groups.  These include key living skills, emotional resilience and positive activities.  To access this, please click here to submit your request.

How to refer a young person for help

A referral is required for our specialist services to get support for anxiety, panic disorders, obsessive behaviours, changes in behaviour & feelings. The service is open to young people in Cornwall aged 11-19 years. This age is extended up to 25 if a young person has a special educational need and/or disability.

Use our online form to make a referral, young people can use this form to self-refer.

Referrals are triaged weekly.  The referrer/parent/young person will be informed of the outcome by letter or email.
