Youth groups in Cornwall
Our youth groups are great spaces for young people to meet up with friends and have fun!
The activities planned for each week will be chosen by you - the young people. We have enjoyed film nights, cooking, silent discos, dodgeball, bingo and more. Groups run weekly and there's no need to pre-book: just come along, and one of our team will be there to welcome you. All of our sessions are free of charge and we have snacks and drinks available.
The activities planned for each week will be chosen by you - the young people. We have enjoyed film nights, cooking, silent discos, dodgeball, bingo and more. We will also bring along board games, sports equipment, arts and craft activities, games consoles and more, so you’ll never get bored.
Although it feels like you're just having fun, we also want to provide you with a space to learn new skills, raise your aspirations and support you to gain access to all the opportunities you deserve as young people growing up in Cornwall.
Our youth workers can help with this. They can provide support, advice and guidance about many topics. If they don’t know the answer, they will help you find someone that does.

Very occasionally, we need to change or cancel a group at short notice, follow us on our socials to be kept up to date.

Our youth groups are there to provide you with a space that is not just about being with or making friends, but also about giving you
- A safe space to be yourself
- Opportunities to express yourself
- A space to be heard, listened to, and play an active role in how the group runs
- Opportunities to gain new experiences and learn new skills
- Fun and informal life learning
- Opportunities to feel part of your community
- Trained youth workers to speak to about anything, ask them questions or just a bit of advice
Some of the ways we offer this is:
- Being open and welcome to all young people without fear of judgement
- A variety of activities to allow you to express yourself e.g. art, sports, media, discussion, cooking etc.
- Asking for your ideas, thoughts and needs for the group and doing our best to meet them
- Bring in others to deliver activities and sessions as well as going out to do these things
- Discussing what is important to you and what is going in in your world
- Fundraising and linking in with what is going on in your community with our support
- We offer all of the above alongside food, drinks, and a variety of ways to entertain yourselves too!
