SENDitForward is an opportunity for young people with SEND to have their voice heard. It is a place where they can share their opinions, thoughts and experiences to help make positive changes in Cornwall.

Our Young Ambassadors are young people from all backgrounds, aged between 11-25, who live in Cornwall. They are a voice for young people who are passionate about helping make the decisions to create a more inclusive Cornwall.
Our Ambition
To enable our Young Ambassadors to recruit SEND Champions, young people living in the community who represent a broader range of young people. The Ambassadors will support the Champions to speak with their peers at school, their friends at music club, drama club or whoever they come into contract with to ensure that we capture the voice of every young person living in Cornwall with SEND.

You will always receive updates on how your views and the young people you have spoken to have influenced decision-making. This might include video updates from staff or the young people we support.
A Champion is someone who can represent and talk to other young people or a group of people to find out what they think about things. A champion is someone who is always thinking about how to make life better for the people around them, and society as a whole.
