Boost Your Skills – Literacy & Numeracy Development Sessions

Take a positive step towards your future with free Literacy and Numeracy development sessions designed to build your confidence, strengthen real‑world skills, and give your CV a meaningful boost. Delivered in partnership with the Guernsey Institute, this joint programme offers a fresh, supportive approach to learning that’s built around young adults.

Whether English or maths has felt challenging in the past, or you’re ready to develop your skills further, these sessions give you the chance to learn in a way that feels relaxed, flexible, and truly focused on you. With student‑centred teaching from the Institute and our welcoming young person’s spaces, you’ll be able to grow at your own pace and work towards real, recognised qualifications.

What’s it all about?

Over the programme, you’ll work towards Functional Skills English and/or Functional Skills Maths practical qualifications designed to help you thrive in everyday life, at work, and in further study. The sessions focus on useful, real‑world skills that make a genuine difference.

You’ll have the chance to:

Literacy (English)
