Training for professionals

We offer two workshops for professionals working with children and young people. These are delivered free of charge, although we ask the booking organisation arranges a suitable venue.

We also host open booking sessions check out our training calendar for planned dates and please Email to make a booking enquiry.

This session explores the substances most commonly self-reported by young people in this age group. For each substance, we examine its effects on the body, observable signs of use, and key safety messages that can be delivered immediately. The training lasts approximately 2.5 hours and was co-developed with Liam Watson from Drugs Training. It is co-delivered in partnership with Independence and H.I.C.

This session provides an in-depth look into youth homelessness, highlighting how it differs from adult homelessness. It explores the underlying causes, the impacts on young people, and potential solutions. The training equips professionals with the knowledge to respond effectively to young people at risk of homelessness and offers guidance on appropriate signposting and support pathways.
