Positive Choices

For young people in Glasgow who are interested in entering the world of work - but don't know where to begin!

This four week programme is delivered at our Glasgow office and focuses on training young people aged 16-24 who are interested in developing their general employability skills.

The programme will help you to develop the skills needed to succeed in the world of work, such as social skills, teamwork, confidence, volunteering, employability and more. We will teach you the basics needed within an employment setting and give you guidance on next steps post-programme.

Some of the sessions include:

  • Outings
  • Budgeting
  • Teambuilding
  • Problem solving
  • Fun and engaging activities
  • Health and wellbeing sessions
  • Employability sessions (CV, interviews, job and college applications)
  • Guest speakers (Army, Scottish Drugs Forum, prospective employers)

All participants will be allocated a key worker who will support them throughout the programme and can provide further support for up to six months.
